The Most About Your Service

My furnace or AC isn’t working; what should I do?

Don’t panic, seriously. Sometimes a downed system could be as simple of a fix as dead batteries a dirty filter. Is the breaker turned on? Are there any blown fuses? Give us a call at 970-482-7520 and we will help you out

How long is the average life span of a system?

Every HVAC system and water heater lifetime, boils down to two main factors:

Installation and Maintenance.

If a system is poorly installed, then it will not operate within the manufactures specs concluding to issues like over worked motors or stressed parts. Maintenance is equally if not more important. Poor maintenance will lead to the same problems and can create more. Sometimes neglected systems need extensive maintenance such as Duct Cleaning or chemical flushes, depending on the application.

How do I know that Christopher’s is that right company for the job?

We truly mean this when we say we aren’t just a business, but we are a family at Christophers. We understand that in many different trades there are “pushy” salesman who may want you to just purchase new equipment instead of fixing what’s broken, and often overlook the original issue that caused the underlying problem. At Christopher’s, there are no salespeople of the technicality of the residential hvac industry. If one of our team members gives an option of replacing a part or unit, they will be the one to do the job, and if we continue a business relationship, they will be the face you see to service the unit in the future.

What is air duct cleaning?

To us, air duct cleaning is the process of cleaning the air ductwork where the airflows through, free of dust and debris as much as humanly possible. Our trailer mounted Duct Cleaner is equipped with 100’ of 8” hose, in which we connect to both supply and return ducts. Then we proceed to go through home wherever register and vents are located with compressed air and cleaner, and if requested a disinfectant fogging may be applied for maximal clean air.

How often should I have my ducts cleaned?

5-10 years. Possibly a shorter time. We believe that there are many factors that contribute to why they need to be cleaned and what kind of method should be used.

Here follow some reasons air duct cleaning may be needed:

  • Allergies
  • Number of residents and animals living in the home
  • Recent new construction
  • Remodels
  • New home
  • Overall IAQ (Indoor Air Quality)
